The Sport I use to Love
Once there was this little girl and for her fourth birthday her Dad bought her a bat. She loved her bat and played with it every day. Her Dad put her on a T-ball team with all boys. Her whole life became all about softball. Now the little girl is sixteen years old and all grown up. The girl loves softball because it was something her and her Dad did together. She was still daddy's little girl. Sadly her Dad pushed her too hard and she was ready to quit. She didn’t want to though because she wanted to spend time with her dad. Finally she told her Dad how she really felt and everything as okay. He was upset but understood; now life is better than ever. Her and her dad go play tennis together every Sunday so they have time together. She will always love softball and remember the memories they made but was just ready to let go.
