This Love

This heart of mine is broken
Its falling apart as we speak
With every word you have spoken
My mind puts on repeat
I’m breaking with every step I take,
away from the only thing I’ve ever known
I continue to walk straight
To this road of being alone
The truth is you stabbed me way too deep
for anyone to attempt to repair
So I will continue to cry myself to sleep
and remember that love is never fair.
