The Arrowhead
One day I will tell the story of the Comanche,
That has all but been erased from the world,
But only when I choose,
I will raise their sons and daughters from,
The Legends that fill these pages,
I will tell the story of Naduah and Peta Nocona,
And their son Quanah Parker;
But only when I choose,
I will tell the stories of the fallen warriors,
That gave their lives to protect the ones they loved,
And the land that gave them life,
One day yes one day the pages of the book will fly open,
Like they wings of an Eagle,
And the people will look at the land of their ancestors,
Not just see mountains and massive trees,
But a mother that cared for all those she saw,
But only when I choose,
I will take the old tattered book from the shelf,
And turn the pages to the past.
