Even stars have names
They taught me
That the stars told
Stories, that little pictures
Wrote a book in
The night
When winter's age
Wasn't a thought.
Orion, hunter,
searching
For his kill,
His bow like a
Jury in the blue.
Pleiades, sisters,
Live in a palace up above,
With knights and lions
White with foam,
And maybe one day I'll
Be up there too,
My signature written
On the moon,
And they can teach
Me how to know
The stars by heart,
Because I'm too young
To know like you.
