The Enigma
No one knows more than him
How frustratingly mysterious he is.
He reeks of cigarettes.
You hate it but you love it.
He sees your heart.
Sometimes he uses it to his advantage,
But you don’t mind
Because he’ll make you feel
Like a million bucks.
But only after he’s confused you so much
That you’re on the verge of giving up.
You call him when you need an
Ego boost or a healthy dose of
“Screw the world”.
He’ll defend you until he dies
And accept no thank yous.
Because it’s his duty to be
That Friend.
The one that is constantly
Re-proving himself.
Do you really know him?
