The Forgotten One
I want to be the type of girl people remember,
the one you see in the store and can’t get out of your mind.
I want to be the girl guys want to stay up all night for,
the girl they just love to talk to.
I want to be the type of girl everyone loves,
the one who isn’t afraid to talk to people.
Instead, I’m the wallflower,
the girl standing in the background of every picture.
I’m the girl who only talks to guys in class,
the one who’s phone never rings.
I’m the girl everyone tolerates,
the one you know but eventually forget.
