The Cold Makes A Man Strong
Harsh cold wind flipped the pages of my book
I pulled on my jacket as I shivered and shook
Meanwhile the protagonist of my book
Could probably kill with a cold look
Maybe I should embrace the cold
Maybe it will make me strong and bold
Maybe I should breathe in the cold
Should I let the cold into my body? Let it flow in my veins and stew in my heart? Let it harden my soft naïve views on the world and soften the heat that sometimes boils in my blood? Should I let the cold into my body?
And then
Let the cold
Spill out of me
Slaying my enemies and saving the day
