If You Break Yourself Again
If you break yourself again,
I swear I’m Gonna’ kill you.
That is if you don’t beat me to it.
First you slipped,
Breaking your wrist,
Taking you away from the thing you loved.
Then after six weeks,
The cast was finally gone,
Replaced with a brace.
You could come back ,
At least to some degree.
One week later,
You show up with a taped thumb,
Refusing to get it checked.
Church Ball is a dangerous game.
You come to me today,
“It’s fractured” you say.
Now you have braces on both arms.
You accident prone fill in the blank.
I’ve never broken a bone in my life.
You should drink more milk,
I think it would help.
Now you may be out for another season.
And to think you were so excited to play.
I love you, Idiot.
Don’t hurt yourself again
Don’t make me rescue stalk you,
That would be creepy.
Get well soon,
Love,
Me
