No Rules. No Laws.
Years ago, I knew what I was like.
You couldn’t tell me what to do.
You couldn’t hurt me.
You wouldn’t be able to shake me.
Nobody would be able to order me around.
Years later, you walked into my life to change me.
You were kind.
You were gentle.
You were funny.
You were smart.
I started to forget who I was supposed to be.
Who I was like.
We didn’t play by the rules.
We didn’t need advice.
We understood each other right away.
You broke down the barrier I built to protect myself from love.
You showed me what I was lacking.
Warmth.
Kindness.
After all; Love. Is. Lawless.
