You have been gone awhile
It's like you've stolen my smile.
And now I'm stuck in denial.
Dear Gladys,
I wish you were still here
I held oh so dear
Why can't you just reappear?
Dear Gladys,
Why did you let the cancer in?
I wish it had let you win.
