The Bench

I saw the bench,
The bench you,
And I,
Once sat on.
Something was drawing me,
Closer and closer
To it.
I caught myself staring
At the empty bench.
Thinking of all the fond memories.
Memories of when we used to sit there.
We'd look out onto the streets below us,
And just watch the world go by.
You followed me to the bench,
And we just sat there,
Watching the streets below us,
Once again.
