Nightmare
I cry awakened from a nightmare I’m already living in.
Thinking about the stories you told about our love.
Secrets come out of your mouth telling me how broken you are.
I wish I could fly across the sky to the closest star above our heads, so I can wish upon it.
For you I would risk it all.
Looks and fame means nothing as long as I’m with you.
Looking upon the stars, wondering how far we’ve come to neglect the way of love.
The hatred I felt when you betrayed me is still there, developing thoughts of ending it all with a sound that will pierce the ears of others.
Knowing the fight I’d put up is now lying on the ground covered with blood on the scalp till it drips down to my lips, drowning her way of saying goodbye.
I wish the other half of me would come back from the person I loved; I’d like to be whole again.
