Starting off sitting in a corner in the back of a room like you’re in time out
Seeing things a realizing why you see what you see
The only senior in the freshman class, he’s an outcast like you
But he becomes your friend
And his step-sister catches your shy quiet eye
They’re nice to you and invites you out
Just like you they have secrets
It’s time to go on a joy ride; the best ride your life
You get taught how to live your weird wild and wonderful life
Breathing the fresh air, standing on a car while riding through a tunnel
It’s like your floating on clouds
Looking at the most beautiful girl in the world to you
But she doesn’t know just how beautiful
She reminds you of your aunt, is it a good thing?
Soon they will be graduating and going to college
Becoming an adult while you’re still a child
But they taught you how to live
