After the Three
Where do I look when people say
"don't dwell on the past"
when I only think of mistakes I've made
and how they will always last?
The present is bleak also
with no color streaking my life
I wish to cut through all of the gray
but there’s not that sharp of a knife
The future is filled with terror
and destinies yet to be known
It attacks when you’re not aware
Strikes you to the bone
I wish there was another option
a time where I could live
because then I wouldn't be worried
and my real life could begin
