The Little Things
The people scream,
And the people cry.
They wonder how the world works.
"What is the meaning of it all?"
They question,
Putting chemicals in tubes,
Creating formulas.
Forgetting to watch the little things.
All the while,
There is a man,
Running home,
To his wife having a baby.
All the while,
Young love goes on,
in the brambles of a tree.
A boy and a girl kissing,
K-I-S-S-I-N-G
All the while,
God's hands swoop down,
To take the souls,
of those who have passed.
All the while,
A tiny butterfly,
Making it's long forgotten imprint,
Up in the sky.
