Absolute darkness dampening the senses
Silhouettes of unknown figures just out of sight.
Buzzing like a room of bees.
The hardwood floor beneath my feet.

Pressure building,
Sweat pooling,
Light!
The vast heat of 1000 infernos beating down on my face.
Every movement made watched, recorded, and judged.

Hyper awareness of the entirety of the environment,
The first movement,
A final breath before the first word,
Theatre.
