A Strong Word
Everywhere I go,
Hate lurks in the corners of the minds of innocents.
They say that it is a strong word.
Hate is a strong word.
There is a lullaby,
That I don’t ever want to sing to my children.
A lullaby about a rocking baby,
Who’s cradle fell out of a tree.
That, my friends,
That is not hate.
That is what I call love.
It is a rocking baby.
It falls.
An accident,
Though it hurts too much to bear.
Poor baby.
Everywhere I go,
Love lurks in the corners of the lusting minds.
They say that it is a strong word.
Love is a strong word.
