Obituary
You still see clouds trekking around.
You see flowers bloom in seas of green.
As the moon goes up and the stars go down,
You’ll remember these great times when they've been:
Hours lying in the sun, play fighting each other for fun,
Share a smile, run a mile, until the last of daylight runs.
Promptly the sins flow through like an electric shock
Take six paces down into your ancient bed
That’s it; life leaves like a breath
An attack from the inside, into the body and mind
Until there’s nothing left but a jar and a few ashes
Until the last of the latter have gone back to the matter that they were a piece of when the planet was a single atom
I still see those who left this world and chose to walk through a one-way door.
Until death do us part,
By all things hallowed and holy, damned Death keep us apart.
