&quot;Nothing is real&quot;- John Lennon<br /> &quot;A journey to wisdom is not very far&quot;- Chris D&#039;Lacey

My mind is a closed book
Closed to those who bring me down

My appearance is nothing
Never shows my actual self

My actions do not speak for me
Words act better

My imagination is a pool
It soon drains leaving me blank

I watch the world choke
Choke on the gas surrounding it

I watch the world fall apart
From a lack of patience and independence

The world is becoming bland
No imagination nor own thoughts

The world is burning and the fire spreads
It tries to burn me like the rest of the world

A white raven, I fly away
To stay myself

The author's comments:
Don't ask me how I got from stanza four to stanza five, I have no clue, I just wrote and barely changed a thing. Also, white ravens do exist. They are very rare which gained even more inspiration for this poem. Also (again), had to write a metaphor poem, so this is the result. I may have went a bit overboard at the end. I'm done here.
