"Think, before you speak. Know, before you react. Love, before you hate. There is far too much anger and hatred in the world for you to be the cause of anymore."

You have your confidants
The pack that cackles piercingly
At what is never amusing
I remain with my trio
Shadow, Wall, and The Dark
Glance at the prominent border
I can disclose what you would never discern
Look from your ideal world
To become a component of mine
Where the world sees me
Though does not know me
You discern beauty
While I only spot my flawed interior
You believe I should view myself as you do
But I can not
I am second-rate
Unlike everyone on your side of the barrier
A foolish girl to believe
That an obstacle like this could be shattered
It may be a veiled divider
But I see it
Even if you do not see
What separates you
And Me

This poem is supposed to represent the almost social classes that are a part of high school. The popular people and the almost barrier between everyone else who isn't.

This is very true... Nice writing!

Thanks this is one of my favorites that kind of came about after the loss so to say of a close friend and realizing that they're gone and they're are no longer a part of my life no matter how much I wish they still were. I felt a lot of bitterness at the time and that's word choice came from.

This is so true in high school! Great use of words :)
