Beautiful Snow

Snow
Nature’s bucket of white paint
Like a blanket that covers all of my surroundings
That melts slowly on grey concrete underneath me
So serene and calm
Yet it fills me with the adrenaline I love
I take a handful of it in my hands
Let the heat escape my hands into this smooth white sphere
Then I throw it
Watch it fly and then hit a tree with a splat
And shatter into a million pieces
Like all of my worries
Gone
Gone with the coming of beautiful snow
Happiness explodes inside of me
Energy rushes to me like the bitter wind
And I am relaxed
Nothing can take me down
Thank you, God
For snow
