It wasn't suppose to be like this.
I was suppose to be the middle child in a big family,
parents happy,
brothers and sisters loving but still having our own issues.
We were suppose to have family time, get along with each other, spend special time, be able to go to college and grow up without worries.
As we grow older though I am seeing more,
I see how my older siblings were suppose to move out and start a life but are struggling to survive.
I see my younger sister who is suppose to be her perfect self crumble to the self destruction of how she doesn't look a certain was or have a low weight to prove she is skinny.
I see my little brother grow up so fast that I can't stop him or nudge him on the right path.
Mostly I see myself. It was suppose to be easy they said. Get good grades and be yourself, then you'll reach your dreams. I wanted this "suppose" to be "it is".
I see my once loving parents drift apart. They were the model of love but how can I see that now. She makes excuses to not be with him as he just hides it and works. They were suppose to be together forever.
It was suppose to be like this.
