Beautiful and gentile,
You burst with fragile bloom,
You look soft as a cloud,
Standing tall and beaming proud.
Your arms reach the blue sky,
Holding desperately,
To your source of life,
Your nutrition, energy, necessity, and prize.
Perfect with imperfections,
Your majestic beauty ensnares,
Our unworthy glances,
And awe-filled stares.
How wondrous you are,
With petals as stars,
Small and pretty,
As the bright and colored lights,
In the sheer calm of the night city.
