The phantom of my dreams
He treats me so sweetly
And though he haunts me
He sees me clearly
He is like a mystery
That one who is not seen
He shall captivate me
Till the end of eternity
Oh Phantom, My Phantom
My dear, sweet reality
Please come near me
For I am so weary
How ironic it is
You are dark and descending
But I see you as light
My pain, my guiding
The fog and the mist
Your companions, your fist
I lose myself in that mist
So yours can be my fist
And with that fist
We fight as one
Our interconnectedness
It lets us strike them dumb
Now they’re lame
And filled with shame
We are the same
So we play this game
Without this obscurity
I cannot see
We are not our own
We have built our home
