From our first meeting
I thought you might be seeing
A strange new girl
Who could never be a pearl.
What I saw was just so pure,
So full of grace was that handsome face.
You sometimes make me laugh a laugh
I wish I could’ve had in the past.
I don’t think I will ever see,
Why you’ve stopped and chosen me.
I know you deserve much more than this
So I will try to give all my happiness.
I feel so lucky to have met you
You have opened my eyes to a clearer view.
I wish I could just hold your hand
That way everything would be grand.
I know again it’s kind of sudden
But these feelings I had to summon.
This friendship, I hope, is meant to last
So let us try not to take it too fast.
Even though we are a lot of miles apart
I feel like already you have a piece of my heart...
