The Two-Edged Knife 1/28/13
Two edges
One purpose
Two choices
One fate.
Obey me
And serve me
Give me plenty
Give me plenty.
You are the tide
And I am the moon
Do as I proclaim
Do not complain.
It is forbidden
Do not commit sin
Never stray,
For you will pay.
Prospers come,
And lives go
A simple metamorphic joke.
Arguments rise
No time for “I apologize”
Act quickly, act quickly
Things are not looking pretty.
Tensions, tensions
A breaking of the one
Caused by the disagreements
Between the father and the son.
Bloody hands and gunshots,
Loud and anguished screams of fire.
Burning, burning in desire.
Conflicting.
Clashing.
Colliding.
Crashing.
Two sides of the blade.
Which will be the spade?
Which will be the shade?
