There Was...

Once upon a time,
There was a heart,
This heart was torn, crushed and shattered.
Once upon a time,
There was a girl,
This girl felt ugly, worthless and weak.
Then,
There was a boy,
This boy became everything to the girl.
There was joy, love and pride,
There was pain, fighting and anger.
There was hard times,
There was fun times.
The boy taught the girl,
About love and hope,
He taught her more about herself.
The boy fixed what was broken,
He patched up her broken heart
Taught it how to love again.
And now,
There IS,
Two people in love.
