They discriminate
For who you are.
They promise to be there
They leave
When you mess up.
They promise to understand
They make fun of
Your pain.
They promise to lift you up
They let you fall
When you aren't what they want.
They promise to care
They don’t even notice
When you’re gone.
They promised.
They lied.
Too late.
