Pour Vous...(For You..)
There had been a time,
When I had longed to be
A tree in the forest
Of your heart which was
Tattooed by the black lacy ink
Of the marker pen which
You sometimes wield in the playing
Fingers of your hand
I had even dared to imagine
Your emotions ticking away
In the form of each pulsating heartbeat
And wanted to be the folds of the paper
Which you folded and shaped
At your own will
But the river flowing in my heart
Told me that it was running too fast
And out of time to wait for the attention
You would never give
And that it had curved a huge meander
While convincing me to think
Away from you.
So I decided to be a lantern
And prove myself to be worthy of others and me
And try to be your guiding light
In the form of a friend
And be always beside you in times of need...
