Life Crumbles
The fear I have is way too strong
The blinding agony of pain
All of the feelings held within
Are bursting through the surface
The anger is fermenting
Making it ever more potent
The strength is way too perfect
It will eventually destroy me
My mountain of erosion
The forever dying stone
The weight will eventually crush me
Forever gaining force
My mast is about to break
The metal rod bending past breaking
The metal will be eaten
By its constantly growing rust
My sky-scraper tower of a life
Just builds upon its base
The base, like all things
Will eventually break
My tilting mountain.
My mast forever bending.
My forever tower,
All will eventually fall.
Yes, the mountain will eventually fall
Though if we choose to let it break
And with the broken pieces
We have a chance to build a castle
The base of the tower must be replaced
But we can choose to let it fall
And build it again from the base up
From a new perspective
The sail needs relief
From the constant wear from the sea
Someone needs to hold the mast
As I tie it down
All will break
All will crumble
Nothing will last forever
But we can choose to fix it.
