I Am a Tranquil Peacemaker
I am a tranquil peacemaker.
I wonder why people fight each other.
I hear gunshots and constant quarrels.
I see before me a shoving crowd.
I want all the countries to unite and have forever lasting peace.
I am a tranquil peacemaker.
I pretend to make speeches.
I feel a desire for supporters.
I touch the mahogany brown podium.
I worry the crowd won’t believe in me
I cry that people wage gory wars over simple things.
I am a tranquil peace maker.
I understand uniting the countries seems like an impossible task.
I say, “I must do what I believe is right!”
I dream that one day all the countries will love and care for each other.
I try to influence people’s minds to let go of their anger, hate, and pain.
I hope that one day I will succeed in accomplishing my desires.
I am a tranquil peacemaker.
