Off in
Another country
To save a people
He never met
Went a man
Who was brave and gallant
And never gave up
So when
He went home
He expected to see
Banners
And signs of love.
But since
He fought
In a forgotten war
His deeds
Were forgotten
Like the war
He fought in.

Yeah...we went to reception for an honor flight he went on and it was so sad, it inspired me to write this becuz he finally got recognized...sorry I tend to ramble :)
