Life is like a box of chocolates you never know what your gonna get.-Forrest Gump

Never will i forget that day
On that dreadful third of May
The last time I saw your face
A life taken by a speeding race
Why is that drug still alive
Its always the good that never survive
Its like a dream that changes life
A mother, a child, a wife
Taken by a man's stupid mistake
Don't drink and drive for heavens sake
One day after my ninth birthday
On that dreadful third of May
I know your proud of who I've become
I love you mom

My mom died a day after my ninth birthday, May third 2004. A life taken by some man's mistake of drinking and driving. Please don't drive drunk think of those who you could effect if you do.
