Pressure To Be Perfect
Young girls of innocence and insecurity,
Are not encouraged by individuality,
But instead are pervaded,
By the boundlessness of corruption,
Brought on by the infamous world of the media,
Supermodels shown on every cover of every magazine,
Make an everlasting influence,
Tugging at our innermost imperfections,
They believe their methods of attention-grabbing are infallible,
Whilst inevitably planting seeds of unreal-ism,
Into our minds already overflowing with ignorance,
And setting us up for disappointment,
Not to mention low self-esteem,
These marketers and producers make money off our false hope,
Girls are delicate flowers,
And they are standing by as,
Our petals slowly wither and die,
They have the power to bring out the radiance,
Shining deep down in our souls,
But instead,
Pressure us to be perfect.
