Gossip
It starts out as simple talk
A gentle flow of an ocean breeze
You never know when to stop
It gives no indication
Then it suddenly turns on you
Like a backstabbing best friend
It starts to get out of hand
You try to stop
But Gossip has its grip on you
It’s not going to let go
The friends you trusted are lost
And you still cannot stop
You even made a Myspace
Just to spread hate and deceit
And lay it in a package at friends & family’s door
After you’ve realized that no one is listening
As you lay down your head and you begin to think
“I’ve been running a gossip empire and I haven’t even left the bed!”
