This isn't going anywhere
just friends is all it will be
but you're missing out
by missing me
i could be your firecracker
i could be your party crasher
instead I'll stay here
quiet but don't get too near
some things just aren't meant to be
someday I'll see I was meant for someone better
someone who understands me in bad weather
not someone who only likes me when
I'm trying
but someone who understands me
when I'm crying.

amen to this. I wrote a poem "not a perfect girl" that kinda is the last two lines of your beautiful piece-how i dont want the people that only like me when im at my best, but the people that love me at my worse.
