A Day in the "Life"

They are loud an unchanging,
Unable to make decisions
Nor discern right from wrong.
They stumble and stagger
In the empty streets,
Always searching for
A quick bite,
Or simply wandering about
As if they truly have
A destination.
Their mindlessness makes them
Indifferent, going through
Every day without
A single thought.
When they find a meal it is
Never satisfying,
Their spirits never knowing
The purpose behind
Their existence.
