Some People

Some people want to be writers,
Some people want to be rich.
Some people want to be fighters,
Some want to climb into a ditch.
Some people want to be famous,
Some just want content.
Some people want to be courageous,
Some need to pay the rent.
Some people think they are genius,
Smarter than everyone else.
Others are purely envious,
Barely able to hold up their belts.
All of those people are great.
They’re perfect,
In their own way.
As for me,
I just plea,
To get through the
Day.
