Tired
I am so tired,
no longer wired.
Tired of dreams
that aren't what they seem.
Tired of hugs,
that are like drugs.
Tired of hospital rooms,
and of hopeful blooms.
Tired of wanting love,
and seeing you above.
Tired of life,
and of all the strife.
Tired of trying,
yet I don't feel like dying.
Because as tired as I am,
life is worth giving a damn.
