A scream heard far away

To the laughs of bells

Feathers falling in the day

landing in a dark drenched well

the fallen price that she pays

the fragile life that she held

everything wasted away

blinded in a false spell


A mysterious being

promised her "The Gate"

Granted her pleading

It set up a bait


"Finish the deed

Open the jar

Granted a key

to send you afar"


A lock broke loose

The cover clicked open

A key to her use

A long lost token


The clouds grew gray

The wind blew hard

The key flung away

and broke into shards


Purple light glew

Her wings grew black

The trouble she brewed

She fell through a crack


Fell through the gate

Her wish fulfilled

Her life at stake

Lost her angel wills


Darkness released

Evil spirits aroused

Completed a masterpiece

Leaving a threatening pose


She was an angel

who wanted to wander Earth

not a devil

walking forever on dirt
