Darkness immerses me
like a giant ocean wave.
Darkness besieges me,
no candle to keep a flame.
Fear building inside me
I don't know where to turn.
In this dark life
with nothing else to yearn.

The rhyming and flow of your poem is awesome. I would have extended the seventh line to match the others, but that's just me. Nice work! 5/5
