Loss of love

As it slowly approach me
I don't know if I'm suppose
to fear it or embrace it
coming towards me like a lost dog
Just wanting love and affection
As closer and closer it gets
the more I fear it and continue
to keep that wall up
As i decide to run from it
afraid of getting hurt
My fear imprisons me
from this thing call love
As they come
I run
I just keep hurting myself
from the possible loss of love
