I am Innocent.
I am the sunset over the ocean.
The beauty of the trees and the wind.
I am a motherless child, reared in a house of shame and indecency.
And then the war, a foul and rvaging beast,
Ripping my loves away from me,
Mama, in the beauty of her robes leaves the world,
My Ua Nyumba, my home, in charred remain,
And the girls, disappeared, in their satins and pearls,
And I am alone,
I travel on, alone, through the beauty of this place, my country,
and a gate, which beckons to me.
I sleep.
I eat.
I pray,
I pray for an absolution from my pain,
It comes to me in form of a plan,
Revolutions.
"His Majesty", "His... Highness",
Sir, the General, in his place of comforts.
Like in the tale of Jericho,
It's walls come crashing down.

I walk on the sand,
By the sea,
And I think of all I've done,
Me, so young,
I place my feet in the ocean,
I am happy again,
I am Innocent.
