"Tell me about emotions."
i have felt every emotion i can think of,
but i know that i can feel more.
i am simultaneously trying to avoid this
and embrace it,
in the way that i will drink the contents
of every bottle in sight,
so that i will not get the urge to do so
when i am alone at night.
sometimes i feel them all at once,
from the simple to the complex:
i am happy and mad and
melancholic and manic,
but i do not see a point in this.
i am passionate and subdued,
i am nothing new,
but this is why you love me.
emotions exist to save us
from loneliness,
which is ironically an emotion itself.
because how bad can things be
if everyone else
has felt the same things as me?
