Abused, Misguided, and Misused
I'm just a mask hidden by a fragment of your imagination,
I'm a picture cropped out a frame from a photo that was taken
I'm royal blue like a sea from the ground that had been shaken,
I was once an option that people had abused and mistaken
I'm tears from the mountain in your eyes that you were faking,
I'm a quote from the creases of your lips that you were stating
I'm that girl that you were misjudging and hating,
I'm like a choice you were suppose to make
But instead put off and flaking.
But see no one cares about the sorrowful tears in my eyes that I have shed,
No one could see the external nor internal blood that I have bled.
Can you see me if my spirits are shattered and broken,
Can you hear me as if I speak nothing that have been spoken
Can you feel me as I feel the tingling in my lungs where my words have been choking,
Can you understand me as if I haven't been joking
Can you play me as if you've been handed a handed a handy token,
Can you recite me as if poetry has been spoken?
Can your light shine as if you're crowned upon be a throne,
Can you hear the chimes as you want to be shown
To the world as picked fragment of YOUR imagination,
That as I speak it causes a broken but mended sensation
Like a battered child that tries to make good out of every situation,
Like a child that was misguided and misled
Like a complicated book you couldn't comprehend and misread.
