The Traveler
I am the tired traveler.
My boots are worn, and
covered in dirt.
My skin bears scars from
spines and hidden pitfalls.
I have trampled through thistles
and hot, blistering coals,
much like the great Sahara.
Rivers offer me their waters
to refuel and cover more ground.
The unknown fears my name,
the traveler who will discover
its well-hidden secret.
