A Cry Called "Misery"
It's torture seeing the way you treat me,
you don't even act like you know me.
You must see the misery and hurt in my eyes,
all I can do is simply cry.
You can't even hear my cries for help,
so how do you call yourself my friend?
I think about the last day we met,
you left me for another person.
You believed his lies over your friend's honesty,
that felt like a stab in the heart.
I cried,
you left.
Sitting in the background crying,
don't tell me that I never meant anything.
We have been friends forever,
whatever happened; happened.
It just hurts me to see you chose him,
so I cry in misery letting the tears fall down my face.
