My Own Tears
My own tears are never seen,
by you or me.
What makes a person tick?
My own tears fall because you hurt me,
you had shown me the real you.
You hurt me and cut me in two,
what do you expect me to feel?
Tears fall down my face when you knock me down,
and don't help me back up.
They drop every minute you are gone,
cold and heartless you make yourself feel.
Almost as if you don't exist.
Why show others your own pain?
Please tell me now,
don't shove me away,
please stay.
I'm nothing without you.
I feel as if I'm in a world where I'm not seen,
like I'm sitting in a crowded room screaming at the top of my lungs,
and no one hears me.
Then all they hear is the bang,
and the sound of the gun shell hitting the floor.
What do they do then?
People running and crying over the horror.
That one person who choose to end their life because of others,
they were hurting.
Did you ever stop and talk to them?
See how they were doing?
I didn't think so,
next time before someone else does this,
stop and talk to them.
It could save a life,
maybe even your own.
