America's Army
America’s army sees the fear.
They hear death counting down ‘til it struck.
People who didn’t see what they see don’t understand.
They understand freedom but people here think freedom is a pleasure.
They may talk load but loudness is all they hear.
They walk into battle to watch their friends die.
They see piles of bodies everywhere they turn.
They are fearful to loss their dog tag because that day maybe their last.
It’s okay for us because they didn’t die in vain.
People maybe sad to the families who has one empty seat at dinner.
While they keep America safe, we plot to kill.
They hear bombs telling them one of their men is dead while we hear laughter.
They hold America while we hold a remote.
They kill for a reason while we kill for madness.
When they come home, people think their insane.
Maybe they are but I don’t blame them.
For what they saw, heard, or felt over whelms them.
They change every time they come to war.
