Thoughts Held Captive
Soldiers have taken the
thought of you, and
placed it in a high-security prison.
The other army waits for opportunities
to rescue the thought,
but so far none have arisen.
Instead it remains under defense: isolated and
shackled in its cell,
As the two militias battle outside
over sentences to the gates of hell.
Many are killed and few survive
this gruesome war;
The main purpose being only to return things
to as they were before.
The immortal prisoner is forced to
forever and ever remain
In the depths of incarceration,
until finally released from my brain.
